Saint Joan of Arc, Saint Magdalene, Saint Cecilia, Saint Frances Cabrini… These are only some of the female saints who became leading ladies in history thanks to their gestures of love and sacrifice. The Duomo has always celebrated them, giving them a special space among the spires.
International Women’s Day is approaching and “Get Your Spire” is extending a special thanks to all the female donors who, since 2012, have contributed to the protection of the Duomo di Milano by choosing a spire.
For this reason we invite you to enjoy our International Women’s Day initiative: donate a Spire and your name will appear on the online and offline Veneranda Fabbrica’s Donor Register. With a donation of €50, you’ll receive a personalised certificate and a piece of pink Candoglia marble, of which the Cathedral is entirely composed.
Mothers, grandmothers, wives, soul mates or friends: donate a gesture of love to the woman of your life and you will be offering tangible help towards the Duomo’s restoration, linking your name to its secular history.
