Also this year to celebrate the Holy Christmas time, you could choose to dedicate your donation to friends and family, participating in the Cathedral’s fundraising project “Get your Spire. Carve your name in history” to support the restoration project of the Duomo. It would be a responsible and tangible act of care in honor of Milan’s symbol.
The beneficiary of the donation can be registered in the Donor’s Register and will receive:
• The Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo greeting card, decorated with a special graphic inspired by the Cathedral.
• The usb CARD with the HD video of the opera "Moses" by Gioachino Rossini performed inside the Cathedral in 2015 and the documentary "Veneranda Fabbrica Del Duomo Di Milano. Inside History ".
• And exclusive series of Postcards with photographic reproduction of the Duomo di Milano;
• a Christmas donation certificate and a piece of the Candoglia marble (for donations starting from € 50,00)
By subscribing to AUG Kids (Christmas edition), it will also be possible to dedicate a donation to the children who will receive, together with the donation certificate, one of the two children’s book of the series entitled: “Discovering the Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo di Milano” published by Carthusia (for donations starting from € 60,00).
The two books, entitled “The Children and the Stones” and “Look Up”, are written for children between the age of 5 and 10 years old, and they are dedicated respectively to the Cathedral and to the Grande Museo del Duomo. The texts are the result of the creative effort of two exceptional writers, Roberto Piumini and Sabina Colloredo, and are illustrated by two talented Italian artists, Gianni de Conno and Gek Tessaro.
It is possible to receive the “Duomo Gift” by donating online or coming at the Donation Office in Via Carlo Maria Martini, 1.
